Continuous Strand Weaving Classes

Every one is welcome! - Beginners as well as those who are already
enjoying the experience of using this unique method of weaving beautiful items.
Beginning CSW weavers will learn on an 18" loom and weave a small bag that can be felted. The yarn and use of the loom are included in the class fees for this first project. Then, a second project can be selected from the options below.
Experienced CSW weavers may select projects that can be completed in one or two days.
Complete project begun on Day One or weave a new item.
One Day: Small Bag, [S]Dish Cloth, [X]3' Shoulder Shawl, [R]Cowl
Two Day: 3' shawl - 2 or 3 panels, Childs Poncho, [X]Shawl(4'-5'), [X]Infinity Scarf or child scarves, Scarf(rectangle loom), [S]Scarf, pieced.

[S] Square Loom
[R] Rectangle Loom, experienced weavers
[X] Because of the time required, it is best if you have your own loom, or plan to purchase one.
What you will need to bring:
 G or H crochet hook or large hook with an eye.
 Hair pick or carding tool used to straighten the weave.
 Yarn - some will be available from Lenore.
If you bring your own supply, please verify with Lenore that it is appropriate.
Class Fees: $80/day (subject to change)
About 6 hours of instruction/weaving time.
Usually participants brown bag lunch.
Other than for the 18" triangle loom, loom rental is $10 per class.
Yarn may be purchased from the instructor at cost.
Looms will be available for purchase at a 10% discount.
