Continuous Strand Weaving Classes

Every one is welcome! - Beginners as well as those who are already
enjoying the experience of using this unique method of weaving beautiful items.
Day One:
Beginning CSW weavers will learn on an 18" loom and weave a small bag that can be felted. The yarn and use of the loom are included in the class fees for this first project. Then, a second project can be selected from the options below.
Experienced CSW weavers may select projects that can be completed in one or two days.
Day Two:
Complete project begun on Day One or weave a new item.
Project Options:
One Day: Small Bag,
[S]Dish Cloth,
[X]3' Shoulder Shawl,
[R]Cowl
Two Day:
3' shawl -
2 or 3 panels, Childs Poncho, [X]Shawl(4'-5'),
[X]Infinity Scarf or child scarves, Scarf(rectangle loom), [S]Scarf, pieced.

Because of the time required, it is best if you have your own loom, or plan to purchase one.
What you will need to bring:
[] G or H crochet hook or large hook with an eye.
[] Scissors
[] Hair pick or carding tool used to straighten the weave.
[] Yarn - some will be available from Lenore.
If you bring your own supply, please verify with Lenore that it is appropriate.
Class Fees:
$120.00 first day - $80.00 additional days (subject to change)
About 6 hours of instruction/weaving time.
Usually participants brown bag lunch.
Other than for the 18" triangle loom, loom rental is $10 per class.
Yarn may be purchased from the instructor at cost.
Looms will be available for purchase at a 10% discount.
